This is basically what I do everyday in AP world history, except on Fridays, when we have quizzes. This class is one of the most chaotic and stressful classes for me, because we come in and as soon as we do, we take out our notebooks, and start reviewing the whole chapter that is assigned for the week. That week we were going over Early China, we took notes, on Friday we took the quiz, and moved on, we never touched the subject after that.
This is the first big written assignment for AP that was timed. I had forty minutes to complete this DBQ, which stands for Document Based Question. This assignment was so stressful and unorganized, I had 6 documents, and a picture to answer the main question, "Analyze attitudes concerning the status of women in the classical age." Each document was a little paragraph that was evidence to get into the ACES paragraph. Mr. Bello gave us a sheet of paper "Basic Core" that helped us with our paragraphs, for example he asked if we had an acceptable thesis, if all the documents were addressed, and if there was an analysis for at least two documents. This assignment was so messy, but I ended up getting a 5 1/2 out of 6, so it went really well.

Humanities I
This work example shows my Plot map for my very first narrative in that class. To write my narrative I had to
This is my Greek goddess presentation on Rhea, she is a goddess I chose to present and work on. I mainly chose her, because I saw how she is considered "the mother of gods" and that interested me.
This is my last chapter notes that I had to do, chapter 11 & 12. The notes were taken on the book "Lord of the flies."
My goal in humanities is to complete all my assignments on time and come to class on time. I’m always late, and especially in her class, I want to work on coming in earlier and getting straight to working. That was also my goal for the first semester. I wasn’t successful with my goal, because of my time management and not completing my work on time. I admit my tardiness affected my learning and brought my grade down. Even though my grade didn’t improve I tried my best I could to improve my grade. I stayed in the library when I could, and I also worked on missing assignments at home. I did all this to fix my grade and turn it all around. I know that if I fail I will regret it and I am changing habits before it's too late. If I’m able to stay on task the next few months I know I can improve my grades and become a better student. I will remind myself not to stop during passing period to talk to any friends, or go the longer way to class. When I come into class, I will get straight to work and not get distracted as easily as I usually do. I would like to improve academically in the area of listening. I will work on this by not talking over Ms. Harkrider, or ignoring her instructions. I will also complete at least one missing assignment of my chapter notes until I get the grade that I want, an A.
